Volunteering & Donations

Please support your local Fire & Rescue agencies with your precious and generous donations !! Without volunteers, where might you and your family be today? Imagine things without them.... We save the lives of you and your family, and protect the property you own and the house you live in.

No matter the size of your donation, your contributions help to maintain our high quality of care.  Money that you contribute goes toward the purchase of new apparatus, fire & medical equipment and supplies, training, and other operational expenses.

We are currently accepting donations to help offset the cost of construction of our new fire station. Please take a moment to look at our building project flier with information on our "designated donation" campeign and an overview of the project.

If you cannot provide a monetary donation, how about becoming a volunteer? Volunteering with Tunstall Fire & Rescue is one of the most rewarding volunteer experiences you will find. Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds. We have members from law enforcement to the trucking industry. Our volunteers are parents and students. Our volunteers have careers and families, yet they give of their time and talents freely, to help answer the call of those in need.

Members dedicate their time and talents to answer hundreds of emergency calls each year. In addition, they attend monthly business and training meetings, help with fund raisers, keep vehicles, buildings and equipment, clean and in working order, and all the other "behind the scenes work" that goes on.

This is not meant to scare off would be volunteers, but to give you a sense of what the dedicated men and women in your community go through for you and your family. The reasons people volunteer vary, but the outcome is always the same...help and compassion toward our neighbors and families, and a gift back to the community.

Volunteering rewards you in more ways than you'll ever know. You’ll be happy you did !!!!

Do you think you are up to the challenge? If so, volunteer membership is available to citizens of our area who are willing to donate their time and talents to helping the community in emergency medical services (EMS) activities, or firefighting or both. Additionally volunteers are always welcomed for membership on our auxiliary.
