January 15th, 2008 - Tunstall Vol. Fire & Rescue receives a $15,000 grant from the Danville Regional Foundation Fund, to assist in the purchase of a backup generator for our new fire station.
2007
Tunstall Vol. Fire & Rescue receives a grant from RSAF and USDA in the amount of $135,000 for the acquisition of a new 2008 ambulance.

Department Information
- General membership meetings are held the 1st& 3rd Tuesdays of the month
- Trainings are held the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month
- Peer Review Committee meetings are held quarterly
- Meetings of the training, grants, finance, membership committee's are held at various times
- Board meetings are announced one month in advance through the local news media
Fire/EMS Training
We hold Dept. trainings on 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month CBSE skills checks are held one of the above Tuesdays and also on Sundays and other times for daytime personnel Tunstall provides many Fire/EMS training opportunities for surrounding departments, and EMT's. *Please check with us for Info.
