F257 is is a
1978 Chevy/E-One pumper recently converted into a pumper/tanker,
with the addition of a 1000 gal. poly tank, 2 1/2" quick
fill and a 6" rear jet dump. It runs 2nd due on all
structure and brush fires. This engine has 1200 feet of 2
1/2" hose and 200' of 1 1/2" pre-connect and carries the
following eqpt.:
- 3 KW gas generator
- 2 500w quartz lights
- 2 sets of turnout gear
- 2 SCBA Packs & 2 spare air bottles
- Firefighting eqpt: Booster reel, (2) 10' 5" hard suction hose, (2) 10' 2 1/2" hard suction hose, 50' 2 1/2" supply line, 25' quick fill line, barrel strainers, 2 fire extinguishers, extension, roof, & attic ladders, pick & flat head axes, (2) 10' pike poles, 2000 gal portable drop tank, electric exhaust fan
